My Hope in You, Never Dies…
My Hope in You, Never Dies…

Hope Never Dies |
That fragrance of wet soil, that smell of moist breeze. The drenched roads call upon our history.
Clinging close to the memories I had with you, I welcome this first rain of winters yearning to see you again...
While I look outside my window and find that the noise of rain has turned into melody; the thunder has turned into trumpets...
Loud shrill cries of the clouds that make me miss you more than ever.
I am craving for you, speculating what if you never come back...
I cease my eyes outside the window in my room.
Look for you so eagerly that I do not even wink, in case I miss the sight of you walking towards me.
The rain still did not stop, it seems like it never wants to close the door that leads to memories.
So magnificent and so unsullied. Sometimes I dislike the rain, it refrains me from encountering you today. How I wish, it stops until you reach and I will enjoy the cup of tea with you again.
Memories hold me back and I cannot stop thinking about you. For the times when we fought & laughed together; cried & smiled together; walked & stopped together; ate & slept together…
I still wait near the window, for I know you will be coming. I wait for the rain to stop so that the clouds slacken and let the light pass through my heart with a beam of colors from the rainbow.
I hold your shirt tight in my hands. It smells like you, just like you are very much closer to me. I only sleep with eyes open, longing for you, longing for the dawn that apprises me of your homecoming.
